Announcement: Small Space, Big Benefit webinar – Florida Wildflower Foundation

October 13, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Please see the note below from The Florida Wildflower Foundation. If you are interested in participating in this activity follow the directions below. This is not being provided by Hundred Acre Hollows, we are just making you aware of this opportunity.

Think your landscape can’t make a difference to pollinators? This free webinar — set for 2 p.m. Oct. 13 — will show you the opposite is true! Attend to learn how Stetson University’s 1/2-acre sandhill restoration in DeLand made a huge difference to pollinators.

Supported by the Florida Wildflower Foundation, this ongoing restoration features Longleaf pine sandhill habitat, which was once the predominant habitat in Florida.

Join us for an overview of the restoration by Karen Cole and a look at the pollinator research performed by Cindy Bennington and Peter May.
