We are excited to announce a partnership with Wendy Barnes Designs!
Wendy Barnes is a talented local illustrator. She creates pen-and-ink drawings of animals, has them printed onto colorful fabric, and then creates eco-friendly products from the material.
Then she partners with conservation organizations, and donates a portion from each sale to the partner organization.
Wendy’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in architecture, a master’s in real estate development, and professional work in the design world. Later, she became the program coordinator for Women of the Wild at the Brevard Zoo. Now, she works full-time in her design business, Wendy Barnes Design.
Originally Wendy created a beautiful bee pattern for Hundred Acre Hollows. We had wanted a gopher tortoise design, but she already had one for another partner. We felt that the bee was a great representation due to our two native plant gardens designed to attract and support pollinators, including bees.

However, Wendy recently let us know that that the gopher tortoise design is available, so going forward, Hundred Acre Hollows will have both the bee pattern and tortoise patterns for sale.
You can purchase her products at our Sunset in the Hollows events, as well as our educational sessions. If you would like to order one to be shipped to you, please visit her website.
We thank Wendy Barnes for her partnership in helping us conserve the Hundred Acre Hollows land and support the wildlife that uses it.
